David McKee Hall (1918-1960) of Sylva, Jackson County, N.C., was a United States Representative, Democrat, lawyer, and leader in regional business and civic affairs. The collection includes the Congressional office files, November 1958-January 1960, of David McKee Hall. Hall's correspondence for the thirteen months of his service was with constituents in the 12th district, lobbyists, fellow congressmen, and political leaders. It concerned veterans' pensions, Hawaiian statehood, social security provisions, tobacco quotas, taxes, labor legislation, and other issues before Congress.

David McKee Hall (1918-1960) of Sylva, Jackson County, N.C., was a United States Representative, Democrat, lawyer, and leader in regional business and civic affairs. Hall was the son of David McKee Hall and Edith Moore Hall. He contracted osteomyelitis as a teenager and was subsequently confined to a wheelchair.
